NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE
What is a Naturopath?
A Naturopathic Doctor (ND) is very similar to a General Practitioner (GP) or Primary Care Provider (PCP) in their ability to diagnose and treat disease. The difference is in the treatment method used.
A Naturopathic doctor will (by choice) use herbs, nutritional prescriptions, diet, and lifestyle changes to treat disease or other health conditions. While a medical doctor will use most often pharmaceutical prescriptions. All doctors should operate under the principle of “First Do No Harm.”
What is the advantage of herbs over drugs?
Usually, but not always, there are fewer side effects when using natural or natural substances. Many drugs were created (synthetic) to mimic the actions of natural and herbal ingredients.
Improved health. Often drugs will help symptoms but not cure the disease. While natural medicines may also do this, the treatments are prescribed so that the disease cause may be healed, repaired, or reversed, not just palliated or reduced.
When you book your initial Naturopathic Consultation you will receive a one-time intake form to fill out,
(including your medical history, etc) and submit it via email.
You will be asked to submit laboratory reports from the last year.
Then we will find a time that works for you.
